Dysgeusia

By medical definition, "Dysgeusia" is an abnormal, distorted alteration of normal taste wherein "metallic taste in mouth" sensations may often be symptomatic. Unfortunately, Dysgeusia is a constant and atypical (irregular/unusual) taste disorder brought on by illness, chemotherapy, pregnancy, autism or certain medications, some sleep aids... and sometimes even smoking! Brain tumors, severe traumas to the head, and something as simple as migraine headaches can also bring on chronic Dysgeusia symptoms.

Mood swings, loss of appetite, social withdrawal and weight loss are not uncommon.

A metallic taste is sometimes also noted with Multiple Sclerosis, but is most likely due to medications and not to the disease itself.

Please visit TruFlavorWare (or see below) for an inexpensive and practical, holistic (whole body), drug-free solution to these debilitating aspects of Dysgeusia via a revolutionary, non-metallic tabletop flatware product that "Simply makes Food taste Better!" for Dysgeusia sufferers.
